Since the lead water scandal in Flint was uncovered there’s been a growing health concern over poisonous pipes releasing unsafe lead & copper levels into drinking water. Today there are still millions of lead pipes in the ground around the world releasing dangerous amounts of lead into drinking water. The problem of lead leaching into drinking water is not just limited to lead service lines. Lead can also find its way into water from lead solder and brass fixtures used in water piping systems in homes and building built before 1986.
