ePIPE is proud to announce that Pipe Restoration Services has been selected as the Buildings and Facilities News Company of the Month.

Pipe Restoration Services uses the patented ePIPE process to prevent leaks and reduce lead leaching from lead drinking water pipes in the UK and Ireland.

In December 2013 the EU will adopt the World Health Organization (WHO) levels for lead content in drinking water of 10 μg/l (10 ppb). Lead is a cumulative poison, and exposure can affect nearly every system in the body. Children under 6 and pregnant women are the most susceptible to the negative health effects of lead exposure.

ePIPE process and products prepare and place a protective barrier coating inside of lead drinking water pipes while the pipes remain in-place. The ePIPE coating reduces lead from leaching from the pipes and fittings to non-detectable when measured at regulators cut off levels.

ePIPE® Lead-Free, Leak-Free™ Pipe Protection is the first lining material and process of its kind to meet the stringent health and application requirements of both UK’s Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme (WRAS) and the UK’s Drinking Water Regulation 31 program.
