ePIPE awarded 2nd place in the ‘Selected Products’ category at the Construmat Fair for Innovation and Sustainability in Barcelona.

This year, the Construmat fair, held at the Fira de Barcelona, was about new technological developments for building solutions. More than 140 national and international companies were selected for the awards.

The patented ePIPE system received a special mention by the prestigious jury, who appreciated the ability to minimize the impact on time and cost by restoring pipes in-place.

D. Jordi Pifarré (partner and Manager of the delegation of Catalonia ePIPE), D. Ignacio Cler (partner and Director General of ePIPE Spain) and Mr. Raúl Alcalá (partner and commercial Director of ePIPE Spain) received the award on behalf of ePIPE.

ePIPE® technology named winner in ‘Best Innovation Adopted’ Category at UK Energy Innovation Awards

On April 25th, ePIPE was named winner in the category of ‘Best Innovation Implemented or Adopted by a Contractor’ at the 2013 UK Energy Innovation Awards in Manchester, UK.

The award was received by Keith Walker on behalf of Pipe Restoration Services for adapting ePIPE, a technology initially introduced to the UK to eliminate lead contamination and leaks in water services and now being developed to extend asset life for gas riser systems.

Organized by the Energy Innovation Centre to celebrate technologies working to deliver a low carbon, sustainable and energy efficient future, this year’s awards received a record number of entries from across the UK and overseas.
