WEFTEC is the world’s largest annual water quality exhibition and offers thousands of water quality professionals from around the world the best water quality education and training available today.
ePIPE is a leading innovator in the lining industry and 2013 has been nothing short of incredible! The rollout in the US of ePIPE FRS, the fastest return to service product in the industry, began in January. With the ePIPE advanced 2 hour return to service product, no other potable water small diameter lining company comes close to being able to offer a same day “water on” service.
In England, ePIPE was recognized by National Grid for ‘Contribution to Circular Economy’ in the National Grid Supplier Design Awards for the use of ePIPE small diameter pipe lining technology. Pipe Restoration Services in the UK was named winner of ‘Best Innovation Implemented or Adopted by a Contractor’ at the 2013 UK Energy Innovation Awards in Manchester, UK.
In Spain, the patented technology was also awarded 2nd place in the ‘Selected Products’ category at the Construmat Fair for Innovation and Sustainability in Barcelona.
ePIPE has added 5 additional patents to its portfolio in 2013 for a total of 11 in the US, EU and Canada, with multiple US and international patents pending.
The most recent patent granted is for the ability of the ePIPE process to reduce lead, from lead pipes and other in-line lead contributors from leaching into the drinking water supply. Using the ePIPE process, lead levels are reduced to below the World Health Organization’s (WHO) guidelines for lead of 10 ug/l (10ppb).
